NC Ballers is a Christian based Semi-Professional Soccer team aimed to spread the word of Christ through soccer. We look for high performing young men who are looking to take the game to the next level. We want everyone on our team to become leaders on and off the field. We value family, humility, respect, and integrity, and hope you can become part of the family!
MEET THE OWNERS
The owners of NC Ballers established this team in June of 2023. The twin brothers, Khalid and Raheem Lamont, have been playing soccer since they were 7 years old. The brothers spent 5 years in England to elevate their knowledge and skills as players. Throughout that time they both played on multiple Semi-Professional and Professional teams and came back to the States to create the Club. They used their experience to create NC Ballers a year later, and have enhanced their team through the word of Christ ever since. During spring season of 2024, NC Ballers won the League in Division I and got promoted to Premier Division. The Ballers strive to continue to elevate their players, and their skillset to eventually qualify for the open cup, open a youth team, and make it to the USL. We believe everything is possible when God is put first.
MEET OUR COACHES AND STAFF
Meet Coach Lamont. Khalid Lamont is a passionate soccer visionary, mentor, and servant leader who has dedicated his life to empowering others through the beautiful game and the word of God. Born with unrelenting love for soccer, Khalid pursued his dreams with determination, traveling to England to refine his craft and chase his professional aspirations. Over the course of five transformative years in England, he embraced himself in the competitive world of soccer, gaining invaluable experience, discipline, and a deep understanding of the game.
Meet Tiana Toledo-Lamont, the team administrator and social media manager. Tianas journey into this role has been a combination of passion, organization, and a deep love for the sport and people involved. As the admin, she oversees many of the behind-the-scenes responsibilities that keep our team running smoothly. From managing social media, to logistics and paperwork, and ensuring every detail is in place on and off the field. Success isn't just about what happens on the field- its about the preparation and effort that happens off of it, too.
